Just some thoughts I thought you might enjoy.--Tom *You've Got to Have Heart--the title to a song from the musical "Damn Yankee's". Heart--a simple, one-syllable, five-letter word having many meanings. When used in everyday language, the multiple connotations of heart prove endless. Have a heart--to be compassionate or merciful. Speaking from the heart--honestly expressing one's deepest feelings and beliefs. Take or lay to heart--to consider seriously or think about. From the bottom of one's heart--with complete sincerity. Wear one's heart on one's sleeve--to allow one's intimate feelings or personal affairs to be known to everyone. By heart--knowing word for word. Cross one's heart--to maintain the truth of a statement or affirm one's integrity. Heart and soul--fervently, completely, enthusiastically. Lose one's heart--to fall in love. *Edited from Words to Live By, Bettie B. Young It's What You Do---Not When You Do It! Baseball Hall of Famer, Ted Williams, at age 42, slammed a home run in his last official time at bat. Mickey Mantle, age 20, hit 23 home runs his first full year in the major leagues. Golda Meir was 71 when she became Prime Minister of Israel. William Pitt II was 24 when he became Prime Minister of Great Britain. George Bernard Shaw was 94 when one of his plays was first produced. Mozart was just seven when his first composition was published. Benjamin Franklin was a newspaper columnist at 16 and a framer of the United State Constitution when he was 81. You are never too young or too old if you've got talent!
